TASIAH IMAN

Tasiah Iman is a vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and curator based in Houston, Texas. Her artistry is deeply rooted in creating authentic spaces for self-expression and community connection.

In 2019, she introduced her debut self-written EP, Mood, a reflection of her signature fusion of R&B and Neo-Soul. Influenced by her Classical and Jazz vocal studies at Texas Southern University, Tasiah’s sound has since evolved to embrace the many forms of soul, weaving elements of Jazz, Contemporary R&B, and Neo-Soul into her music. Her voice has graced stages across Houston, including The Wortham Theatre, the Cultural Arts Museum Houston, and The Post Houston, where she was the featured performer for the unveiling of the Barbara Jordan Statue.

Recognized as a 2023 Artist Residency recipient at Project Row Houses, Tasiah curated Metamorphosis, a performance exploring the cyclical nature of life and shared human experiences. She is also a selected artist with Sofar Sounds, where she crafts intimate, soul-stirring performances that foster genuine connection between artist and audience. Her collaborative spirit has led her to work with various Houston-based businesses, curating immersive musical experiences.

Currently serving as a 2024-2025 DACAMERA Young Artist, Tasiah continues to shape Houston’s music landscape through performance and education, sharing her artistry in ways that resonate deeply and linger long after the final note.
